Additional service – Colour matching to originals
Our scanners are calibrated and captures the maximum possible gamut of colours, but for a more precise colour fidelity to the original we recommend our colour matching service. The following one-off set up cost includes A5 proofs

Image Editing and File Type
For each scan we create 4 files by default:
High resolution TIF at 48 bit colour (Up to 4GB / 30,000 pixels) for the most demanding publishers and to facilitate optimum image editing
High resolution JPG at 8 bit (Up to 600MB / 30,000 pixels) for printing and publishers
Medium resolution JPG – Compressed (Up to 50MB / 10,000 pixels) for image licensing & print on demand
Low resolution JPG – Compressed (Up to 2MB / 1,000 pixels) for websites, marketing & social media
Retouching
Light retouching – such as removing hairs / dirt from scan or file
£FOC (Free of charge) if file is scanned in house by us, or £80.00 per hour from supplied files (+VAT)
Bespoke retouching – tailored to your specific requirements
£80.00 per hour (+VAT)

You can either drop your negatives, transparencies or artwork in to us, or send these via post.
We recommend that negatives, transparencies or artwork is sent via a trackable, signed for service with the relevant insurance, for your peace of mind.
We can! We offer scanning on-site in exceptionally high resolution – which is perfect for larger works. Both options produce digital files which can then be sent to you as is, edited, and then printed and finished if desired.
